Kaleefah and the NYT break down the recent raid on Mondo Kim's, a NYC record shop, in which 5 employees were arrested for the store's sale of mixtapes. The article is featured in the Arts section, and highlights the irony in which record labels have made contributions to the late Justo Faison, but yet still attack the mixtape market.
