I DOES THIS

Ask about me...

Obie Trice-"They Wanna Know"
2nd ROUND'S ON ME!! If this Emile-produced banger, featured during the end credits of one of this season's Entourage, is any indication of how Motor City's most underrated album might shape up, then daaamn. I gotta give it to dude, Emile..his last 2 joints i heard (this and Rhymefest-"All I Do") BANGERS.

Raekwon-"Treasurer"
New banger from the chef..some leak joint promoting "OB4CB2". Rae spits vintage over the slow tempo'ed neck-breakin beat. The quick shout to the incarcerated scarfaces did it for me. Shouts to DJ Riddler for this one. Listening to this joint gets me tight that I missed dude kill it in front of the live band in NYC last week. If you missed it like i did, you can peep him rock C.R.E.A.M live tho...WHO GOT THAT GOOD CRACK?! Great minds think alike!

AZ-"Never Change"
Album cut off of Sosa's up-coming album A.W.O.L. So what..i'm a sucker for the vocal-samples still. This joint has that fly shape-up/Gucci Shade AZ flow all over it. The album filled-out real well with appearances by Ghost, Rae, Bounty Killer, and even a sick 16 from Half-a-Mil (RIP). The bonus joints on the album include the bangers "Live Wire" and "Magic Hour" featuring CL Smooth.

Mixtape Radio is looking to do a mixtape to raise funds for disaster relief from Hurricane Katrine. The mixtape will be a 2CD mixtape. The mixtape will sell for $12 and all proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross. Submit a 1-3 song mix of Hip-Hop, R&B, blends, Down South, Reggae. For anyone interested in adding material, email mixtaperadio.net@gmail.com, make sure to put "MIXTAPE RADIO Disaster Relief Mixtape" in the subject.

VH1 is doing another Hip Hop Honors this month. They have yet to update their website with any info, but i saw the commercial and it looked like it had potential with tributes to Big Daddy Kane and Biggie.

New Whoo Kid mixtape is dropping. Aside from G-Unit's response to Game "300 Bars", you can expect new Young Buck, Mase Murda skits, and live versions of your favorite Tony Yayo songs.

I don't normally post up eardrum-popping Kayslay-heavy tracks, but this new Juelz joint featuring Cam'ron was too dope to resist. Re-using the "World Of Music/Welcome To Jamrock" sample over an obnoxious, (in a very dope way) west-coast heavy bass line the joint features a dope Juelz verse, with an even doper Cam appearance. You can find this joint on one of Slay's new mixtapes. For those who haven't heard Slay is the latest addition to Sirius' SHADE45 station.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND BONUS JOINTS:

Kool G Rap & Canibus-"Gun Ho City"

Heltah Skeltah & Thirston Howl III-"It Gets No Better"
